REVIEW: MAYBELLINE COLOR TATTOO

For some reason the drugstores in my hometown have taken absolute ages to get on board with the highly anticipated Color Tattoos. But I’m glad to let you all know that they’re finally here and boy, do I love these bad boys…

I own two colors: 30 – Pomegranate Punk, which I featured on my last tutorial, and 25 – Bad to the Bronze. The first is a slightly shimmery, deep cranberry shade with subtle flecks of gold which is perfect for fall.

Bad to the Bronze, on the other hand, is a metallic bronzy taupe that looks fantastic on a daily basis.

It has no shimmer to it and it’s very similar to the Makeup Forever’s Aqua Shadow Stick in 20E. MUFE’s has a slightly warmer undertone and applies a little more roughly, while the Color Tattoo is slightly creamier, but they both dry out to the same exact waterproof finish.

So all in all, the Color Tattoos get 5 out of 5 stars for their quality, pigmentation, durability and price.

Have you tried the Color Tattoos? Which one is your favorite?
